DANCE WITH ME

Founded in 2005, Dance With Me is a nationally recognized ballroom dance company, home to champion and celebrity dancers, Maks & Val Chmerkovskiy, from Disney & ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars. Dance With Me provides world-class ballroom dance instruction in the finest dance studios and creates memorable experiences at various events and productions.

THE OBJECTIVE

Take a classic pastime and bring it into the digital age. Transform a local business with a passionate and talented team into a nationally recognized brand with a leading digital and social presence. Leverage the power of content and storytelling to build a community of dancers on and off the dance floor, while utilizing digital marketing to fuel expansion and open new locations across the country.

THE WORK

  • We redesigned the visual elements and voice of the brand to reflect the high quality service and aspirations of the company, while maintaining the affability of the experience. We modernized all the creative assets to perform in a mobile-first digital world, retaining classic elements with a contemporary application. We crafted a mission statement that reflected the founders’ vision and clients’ experience, giving purpose to the brand.

  • We interviewed the founders, students, and teachers to understand their reasons for dancing. We told those stories in the form of written blogs, video documentaries, and short-form social content. This has led to millions of impressions and top page organic ranking. Just Google “Why do people dance?”

  • By capturing raw and honest moments in the studio and on the stage, we created a global community of dance fans and showed the world that anyone can learn to dance. The result? Over 240,000 fans and counting. #DWMFAM

  • To match the founders’ growth aspirations, we had to scale our reach. By targeting the right personas with the relevant content, we were able to efficiently amplify our messaging and drive sales with a profitable ROAS of 3-10x across paid social and paid search channels.

  • With the company well into its growth phase, we had to ensure that each studio had the systems in place to properly nurture leads and give them the attention they deserved. By implementing automatic workflows, guides, reporting, and company wiki, we enabled the studio teams to do more in less time.

  • In addition to marketing a variety of events and productions (theater, competitions, tours) we elevated the live experience further. We upgraded visual elements and partnered up with local entertainment companies to design the stage lighting, backdrops, and live video for an even more immersive and memorable experience for performers and guests.
